Most successful individuals that we see out there, were once a “nobody.” We ask ourselves, how were they able to make it to the Apex. How did it all happen? Sometimes, we need a career expert or people who are knowledgeable to give us guidance so that we can reach our goals.

From skills development to advice on working in a changing environment, your KonneKt mentor will answer your questions, review your background and objectives, share practical strategies for success, and follow up to discuss milestones and results.

Education

Attaining ones dreams in life, sometimes doesn’t come on a silver platter; it takes excess learning and courage to break down boundaries to reign in your chosen field.

Education gives us a knowledge of the world around us and changes it into something better. It develops in us a perspective of looking at life. Education is very important but have you asked yourself, how many unemployed graduates we currently have? To be educated means, having had good training; being knowledgeable and refined in judgment. So here at Konnekt World Ghana, we offer global professional mentoring and coaching platform with personalized programs that support your emotional, academic, and professional well being. KonneKt is unique because we adopt a holistic view of the individual.

Networking

This is where most people fall short. Some people desire to run their business without networking. They soon find that developing a well established network plays a vital role our daily lives. The calmest way to grow your network is to build on the relationships with people you know; family, friends, classmates, colleagues and acquaintances. This increases the possibility of you excelling in your chosen field.

Wellbeing

Going through difficulties in life is a sure thing. Here at Konnekt, we listen to your most difficult challenges and fears, then we work with you to develop custom, effective strategies. These implementable strategies can turn those challenges into tools that yield extraordinary results in any area of your life.

What are their age groups and locations?

Our community consists of individuals who are between 19 to 45 years old. Approximately 80% of our community lives in Ghana. The remaining 20% currently live in other African countries, North America, Europe and England.

Relationships

Relationships are imperative for many reasons such as increasing our emotional well being and creating stability. We all need someone to lean on in times of difficulties and the challenges that life presents. Whatever it is that you are facing, there is always someone who has gone through similar problems/challenges and overcame with faith, hard work and optimism. At KonneKt, we are eager to help and we promise to offer you professional guidance in addition to being a pillar or shoulder to lean on. We promise to always be engaged and involved.

How committed are the Mentees to this program?

KonneKt Mentees are 100% committed. They are hungry for the opportunity to grow and bring value to themselves and their communities. They genuinely believe in the vision of our initiative. KonneKt Mentors walk each Mentee through the necessary steps to enable them achieve their goals.

How will the mentoring relationship fit in their studies, lifestyle, home or work pattern?

That is determined during the “get to know you” phase of the KonneKt program. During the entire journey, the Mentee and the KonneKt Mentor discuss goals, values, and clear objectives before collaboratively formulating a way to move forward. There is always an alternative, so please let us know what you need. KonneKt Mentors will always aim to keep you engaged and informed while creating a plan that combines your goals with your life.

Take Initiative

We expect Mentees to be excited about reaching their goals and their future. Mentees should take full responsibility of setting meetings and provide their Mentor with what key topics they would like to discuss. Please remember, your Mentor can only provide the guidance you need when they know what questions or challenges you are currently facing. Please give your Mentor preparation time so that they can have relevant resources and answers or solutions ready for your meetings.

Communicate Clearly

Communication is extremely important when it comes to mentorship. Your preferred method of communication can be discussed with your Mentor once you are accepted into KonneKt. Our Mentees often choose to communicate through Email, WhatsApp, or Telegram. Our weekly webinars are conducted via Zoom, but if you miss a session the recordings will be available on all podcast listening platforms in addition to YouTube.

Respect Each Other

Mentees are clear on the role and responsibilities of a Mentor and Mentee. This is emphasized at every stage of the relationship to avoid any ambiguity. Our Mentor-and-Mentee-working relationship is strong. We don’t impose on them, we do as they say. We create a conducive environment that makes them feel at home.`
